The Clay Print Process

It takes a great deal of skill and practice to take the clay impression.

We are regularly in Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh and can arrange group booking for 10 prints or more anywhere in the UK.

Once we've taken your print, we will then fire the clay to 1000ºC to ensure a lasting impression. We will then frame the print and engrave your name plaque in our studio and send the beautifully finished article to your home or arrange for collection.

Our prints differ from many other companies' in that the clay your special person has put their hand in is the same clay you receive back. We never take casts or use plaster. You may also notice that our prints fill the entire frame, and are not concealed behind glass. We feel this simply looks better, and the clay has such a wonderful, tactile quality that it would be wasted behind glass.

50% deposit required when taking print, balance due when print is delivered approximately 4 weeks later.

Prints can be couriered to your home for £8.50 anywhere in the UK . Alternatively pick up is available at any of our regular venues.
